The ultimate answer to a very common question.
So, what are the absolute dos and don’ts of a UX report? How long should it be? How detailed? How much text versus illustrations?
As you might suspect, you will get many different answers to this question. Some good and some bad – but ALWAYS different. Although some details are expected – such as background material, methods, personas, key findings and recommendations – I will go so far as to say the following: Your report is a success when you have added findings from your research that will help improve your company’s products and /services AND you have presented it in a way that is easy to understand…PERIOD. In other words – the proof of the pudding is in the eating.
