On of the items on the program of the day was a tiny little customer – in age and centimetre – and capturing him on film. The expectations were far greater from our photographer than from the model, who thankfully was of the sleepy kind.
Since the 60ies wanted its sheep hide back the background was instead a length of fabrics lifted and attached to a stand behind the baby. Two speedlights (for those interested) were ready, together with a speedy blender opening – which hopefully was faster than the child, should he suddenly wake up.

Unfortunately, this also meant that the interest for the photographer was non existing. The baby had its face deeply buried in the rug and only a few of its head hairs were visible. Thankfully our photographer comes with a bag of tricks, and the baby’s mother was asked to hold its head up and two photographs were shot and later merged to remove the mother.
